Hi, We have brought a 26" LCD Vizio TV below r the features Please could anyone tell me if this LCD will work in India....As I Know in India all Tv's work in PAL Format......or is there anyway to convert NTSC format to PAL format........ please could someone tell me....... There is a decent chance it will play PAL video fine. My LCD TV does. You can check by connecting a DVD player and forcing its video into PAL mode. It won't tune antenna there though.

I am connecting it with a composite cable (One yellow for video, one red and white for audio) My TV is a Sansui SV-1412..I actually do not know if it is PAL or not but considering all televisions in India are PAL, this might be too. It's a 2001 model.

You MIGHT get a black and white picture IF you are lucky.... The sound, and color carriers are way off on NTSC and PAL.

I bought Sharp LC-26GA5U 26" AQUOS Widescreen Flat-Panel LCD TV from http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00070E8LK The problem is that the TV is NTSC and in India only Pal system works. Does anybody know of a way to make it work ? Somebody else had the same problem ? I even bought a PAL to NTSC convertor off ebay but that only takes input in the form of Audio/Video and therefore works with my DVD player. I want a PAL to NTSC convertor that takes RF input from my cable television provider and converts that signal from Pal to NTSC and supply that as input to my NTSC TV.

I'm not quite sure if this will work, but the easiest thing for you to do is to find a cheap PAL VCR and plug your cable TV into that, then plug it into the NTSC/PAL converter using A/V cables. I say a VCR because you need the RF Demodulator that will convert the signal from RF to audio/video, but before you can do that you need to tune into the channel that you want to watch. VCRs have the capability built in to do both of these things. Only problem is that I have never heard of PAL VCRs before, and when I looked them up on Google, they were quite expensive. I suggest that you see if you can find one to borrow and test it with before you buy one. Hope this helps.
